[Opinions] Jennaea and Avabelle
I met a girl named Genneya and really liked the way it sounded (jen-NAY-ah), but not the look so I changed the spelling and came up with Jennaea which I really like.I know most people are not into made up names and I doubt I would use it, but I like it a lot. What do you think? Also I played around a bit and came up with Avabella and Avabelle. I think they're really pretty but I probably wouldn't use them either.Opinions?

I think we're on the same page. I like them but don't know that I would ever use them myself.

Genneya and Jennaea both look too contrived to me. The sound of it is okay, but I think it sounds enough like Jenae that you may as well just use that instead. As a whole, I prefer Jenna, Jenae, and Linnea / Linnaea.Avabelle and Avabella still seem too popular to me because of Ava and Isabella's popularity even though neither one is popular itself. I also find Avabella overly fussy.

Jennaea does not even look like it says Jen-NAY-ah. I could not make out what it said until you explained in your message. So no, I don't like that spelling. I know a couple of girls called Janaya, pronounced the same as the name you are describing. I prefer that spelling.
Avabella and Avabelle are ok. Just not my style. I'd go more for Arabella or Ava Belle as a first and mn.

I've been seriously crushing on names ending in that "-AY-uh" sound -- names like Mattea, Mireya / Mireia / Mireille, Dulcinea, Linnea, Freya, Bartolomea. So I do get the attraction. But Jennaea is a bridge too far for me, sorry. I'm OK with Ava Belle, and Avabelle isn't the worst creative name I've ever seen. If I'm honest with myself I have to admit that Christabel (a personal favorite) was not that long ago a "made up name." So I wouldn't really have a strong objection to Avabelle, especially if it were a mn.

I actually like Jennaea, which is unusual for me because I tend to dislike Jen- names. Avabelle/a doesn't really do much for me though.

I prefer just Jenna over Jennaea, which is too made-up for me. I think the "aea" on the end looks odd.Avabelle sounds pretty but I prefer Anabelle or something similar.
