I love Martha! It has just about everything I like in a girl name in one tidy package: history, strength, sweetness, intelligence, and beauty. I'd probably give it an 8.

I think Martha is best paired with a light and pretty middle name. I go back and forth between loving Martha Gillian and Martha Emily.

I like the combo Martha Rosemary.

I like Martha. I think some people would find it old fashioned and dated, but the only Martha I know is in her 30s so I don't find it old-lady sounding.
