[Opinions] Guy, Alon, Rotem & Or
And their mothers name is Yael. This is an Israeli family looking for an au pair when they move to Switzerland. They have four kids:Guy (boy, 8)
Alon (boy, 5)
Rotem (girl, 4)
Or (boy, 5)Alon, Rotem and Or are all new to me, so I found it interesting. Guy sticks out, IMO.NB: Or won't hyperlink, for some reason- it's in the database (I just checked!) and means Light.

I don't now why, but I like Or lol! I think I like the look of it more than anything else - lovely meaning too. Certainly to use it IRL in an English speaking country would be ridiculous.

I've always liked Guy and Alon is okay, but I'm not a fan of Or, which is a word I think, and Rotem is the name of a pokemon (But spelled Rotom) so it sounds... Off, I think.

I don't really like any of these names. I think it's horrible to name a girl a name that rhymes with scrotum (at least how I am pronouncing it)

Wow. I'm in love with Alon, great meaning. Rotem is new to me too and I like it. Nn Ro would be cute. When said out loud, "Guy, Alon, Rotem and Or" are very euphonious together. I like Or in theory and I'm glad it works in Israel and possibly Switzerland. The Swiss might think it has somethig to do with gold. But I don't think it would work in an English speaking country. Yael is utterly gorgeous.

I've liked Alon for a while. I guess I would like Or as a nickname, not as a full name though.

I love Guy. Love, love, love it. Both the French and the English pronunciation. I don't like Rotem but Alon is nice and I like the meaning. Or is too short for my liking but I think of the French word for gold which makes me like it. It's a sweet name, in a gp kind of way. So, I like the boys' names but not the girl's name.

I wonder if Or is made to not hyperlink because it's such a common English word. Although it doesn't often need to be capitalized, so it wouldn't link often anyway. Because love capitalized will hyperlink, and it's a pain.I think Guy sticks out majorly, too, but I like it. Alon is okay, but I don't really like Rotem or Or. (Bwaha.) Yael is pretty, though. I heard it on someone a few weeks ago and meant to start paying more attention to it.
