[Opinions] Re: Forest/Forrest
I love the imagery of this name. I've known two men with this name, both spelled with the double r, one very old (in his 90's) the other quite young (16). It suited both of them. I think the name is quite popular in Rudolf Steiner circles--the younger Forrest I know shared the name with another classmate in the local Waldorf school. It was my dh's 1st choice for a son, but instead we had a girl. I also know a young woman who is in her late 20's named Foresta--she has a younger sister named Oceana. As names, Forrest and Celeste evoke such different associations and undertones that I think they work together well. Would totally depend on the surname, whether there were other sibs, etc.
