The only Molly I know is a dog. In fact I know three dogs called Molly.
I do think it's a cute name but it's so popular on pets here! (according to freakonomics, Molly is the most popular name for both cats and dogs in England) This just makes it unusable to me, even though I do like it.
Molly's siblings would have similar nicknamey qualities - Alfie, Charlie, Harry, Lily, Poppy, Evie...
