Elena and Jeremy were very happy to welcome a second healthy baby boy to their family. This pregnancy was a little tougher on Elena than the first, especially with all the talks of war with Canaan again. Jeremy did all he could to keep the Queen out of the matter, but she takes her duties as queen very seriously and attended meetings up until the doctor would not let her leave his sight.
The King and Queen are planning a trip to Canaan with their children, in an attempt to stop the rumors of war and so Jeremy's family can see the two boys. The trip has very good timing, for Jeremy's father's health is failing and it may be the one time that he gets to see his grandchildren before he passes away.
As for Nikolas, he loves his baby brother. He talks nonstop about all the things they will do together when baby Rhys gets bigger. He doesn't even mind that he doesn't recieve nearly as much attention as he used to. He just seems to understand that the baby needs the attention, not him.
