Noa and Noah aren't boys names, they are both unisex and always have been. There's even a female Noah in the Bible. I like it, but prefer Noah as it looks more complete.

I don't really like boys names on girls either, but at least this sounds feminine-ish rather than using a very masculine name like James on a girl.

It's not a boy's name - she is mentioned in the Bible, and her name is distinct from Noah, but I loathe the name Noa with a passion. Sooooooooooo ugly!!!

It's got the same problem for me as Noah for a boy - that great big thumping NO at the beginning.

Noa (f) is like really popular in Israel, in the top 100s for a few countries in Europe and I have met quite a few in the UK too. So it shouldn't be too much of a problem, it's not like it's unheard of. It's cute and has a very different feel to Noah, which I don't like. And it is a Japanese name as well, how cool! Noa is completely feminine looking and distinct from Noah.

It's one of my favorite girl names! I love it! My current combo is Noa Elizabeth, but I'm not entirely sold on it.

I don't get Noa on a girl at all. When you call it out, nobody knows there isn't an H on the end. And it just sounds masculine to me. He built the ark, for goodness' sake! Maybe I should look for some female Noa's to help me be more open-minded. Nope, never mind, I'm keeping my mind closed on this one. :o)

It sounds more feminine to me, and Noa is an entirely different female name.

I'm not against it and technically Noa isn't a boy name used on girls, it's a legit feminine name. Noa is girl to me and Noah is boy.
My Noa combo is Noa Victoria.
