It might have to sink in for awhile because I'm not really digging it on first impression. It makes me think of "trilobite" and "trillion." It sounds like it could be some sort of primitive creature, alien race, or maybe a medication. I guess if I was super familiar with the flower, I'd be thinking of that first and it would seem much prettier. From the sound I can get a sort of white, graceful image from it. Yeah. Yeah, now I can see it. Alrighty, I've nearly talked myself into it. That was easier than I thought!

I like Baptisia (I have one sitting just outside!). And Delphinium on a boy. Or Delphinia for a girl, which I kinda just dubbed the feminine version myself. I wish I liked Crocosmia as a name, but I can't get behind it yet. Love the flower, though, have some of those just outside too. :P I've also been trying to like Castilleja, which is the Latin name for Indian Paintbrush, one species of which is native to here (Castilleja coccinea) and my favorite flower.
