I would also find a little Cathy quite refreshing. We're so inundated with Katies that Cathy is the bolder and fresher choice nowadays.
I know a few Catherines. One goes by Catherine-in-full, the others by Cathie and CAthy. Catherine is a teen, the Cathys are both in their fifties.
I like Katherine myself, it's a bit sharper, but I prefer Cate over Kate. I like Kitty for Katherine. I also like Kathe or Kaethe.
