How would you pronounce Florentine?And what do you think of it?

I really like this for a mn. The singer Eric Andersen has a pretty song called Florentine.

floh-ren-teenI don't mind it. However I do think of florentines which are a type of chocolate biscuit. I prefer Florence.

Depends on where I came across this name...English: FLAW-ren-tien
French: flo-rawn-TEEN
German: flo-ren-TEE-nəI think it's a very pretty name in all the languages I speak but I guess it's prettiest when pronounced the French way :)

It depends who the bearer is. If the person is English, then FLOR-en-teen. If she's French, then flo-rahn-TEEN (except you don't really pronounce the N, and the EEN is not drawn out. Still the "EE" sound, but quicker).
I'm not liking it, sorry... I do like Flora, and Faustina, though.

FLOOR-en-teen. I think it's okay. I'd never use it myself.

I pronounce it kind of like flo-rawn-TEEN. I think it's quite pretty. However, I do prefer Florence.
