The first day of their freshman humanities class in University, Lucas sat next to Jayna, who was with her friends -- Phoebe, Christine, and Delia. Immediately, he hit on Delia, the prettiest of the girls. Jayna -- always protective of her friends -- told him to back off before class started. He spent the rest of the class trying to get Marcia's attention, but she continuously blew him off. The next class he tried to grap her attention once again, without much success. That night, at a party, he finally apologized for his rude behavior in class and asked Jayna to dance with him. She agreed, and cautiously entered into a relationship with Luke.
They remained a couple throughout their four years in college -- one full of love; a nearly perfect relationship -- with Luke proposing to her on the day her independent work for distinction was accepted, allowing her to graduate with distinction in Fine Art. The married six months after gradauting college, with Jayna working as an assistant curator of sculpture in a prominent museum and Lucas working as an accountant in a small firm. Jayna is also taking graduate classes at night in the hopes of being a head curator in the future and Lucas is pursuing a law degree.
The wedding was small, but intimate with the three girls from that humanities class acting as bridesmaids (Delia was flirting with the best man all night; they're now dating).
