My son's in-utero nicknames were Itty-Bitty and Pokey Joe. I don't think he would have appreciated either one on his birth certificate. :)

I think of naming someone as a serious responsibility, so I really don't like it when silliness like Tater ends up on a birth certificate. Vincent is gorgeous, but if I were little Vincent Tater, I'd start insisting my name was Vincent Tate as soon as I grew old enough to realize my parents turned my name into a joke.
