At least it's in the middle. There was a more recent celebrity who gave his son the first name Peanut because that's what they called him before he was born.
Tater is close to Tate and kind of feels like a real name, I guess.
I hate the concept of calling potatoes taters though :P Unless it's a tater-tot, because what else do you call that?
