Bayard Hawlins was born to American Muggle parents and plays professional Quidditch as a Beater for the Appleby Arrows, and on the US National Team. He has straight, thick brown hair and dark blue eyes.
Juno Hawlins (née Grimshaw) is an English Pure Blood who excelled at Hogwarts (she was in Ravenclaw, after all). But given her husband's success on the Quidditch pitch, she decided to follow her truest and least ambitious dreams, and now works as a bartender in the Hog's Head, in Hogsmeade. She enjoys tending to the mixed crowd that arrives in the bar, and practicing her skills from her favorite class at Hogwarts, the much-maligned Divination, for which she has a natural gift. She has hazel eyes and wavy, light brown hair streaked with blonde and red.At Hogwarts, she played Quidditch as a Keeper, but now only breaks out the broom to horse around with Bayard and their kids.
Their first daughter, Una Hawlins, has green eyes and straight, bleach blonde hair (they're not sure where she got that from). She's cerebral like her mother and ends up in Ravenclaw, as well. She takes immediately to Herbology, at least once they begin handling dangerous plants. Like her father, she excels as a Beater in Quidditch, and goes on to become Team Captain. She also becomes a Prefect, which helps her land a job on the botanical taskforce at the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes.
The firstborn of their twin sons, Taz Hawlins, has blue-green eyes and wavy auburn hair. He is a born lover of fun and ends up among his kind in Hufflepuff. He's not much for academic subjects, but he'll admit he does enjoy Charms. He is a good-time Charlie and prefers to lead the fans in the stands to actually playing Quidditch. After he graduates, he goes to work as a waiter in Madam Puddifoot's in Hogsmeade. On his breaks, he goes to the Hog's Head to visit his mum, with whom he's always been close!
Tadhg Hawlins, the "younger" twin, is physically identical to Taz and similar, though more ambitious. Like Taz, he sorts into Hufflepuff, enjoys Charms to some extent, and foregoes Quidditch and House responsibilities. But after Hogwarts, he moves to London and gets work in a cafe in Diagon Alley. He is working his way up the management ladder there, and Juno wonders if he will eventually hire Taz away from Hogsmeade.
Stan Hawlins has his father's dark blue eyes and his older brothers' reddish hair, though his is straighter. He is mentally sharp like his mother and older sister, and ends up in Ravenclaw. He adores Charms with his Housemaster, Prof. Flitwick. Having inherited his father's sturdy build, he plays Quidditch as a Beater. But his true love has always been fashion, and after leaving Hogwarts, he goes to work in Gladrags, where he has schmoozed the owners for years. He hopes one day to advance to their shops in London or Paris.
After welcoming identical twins, Bay and Juno were surprised to deliver fraternal twins. Their youngest girl, Jean Hawlins, has hazel eyes like her mother and wavy black hair. The family's first Gryffindor, she excels in Astronomy and spends many late nights alone up in the tower watching the stars. Curiously, she also finds time to play Quidditch as a Chaser, and goes on to become a Prefect. After leaving Hogwarts, she elects to join her sister at the Ministry and enters the Department of Mysteries.
Munro Hawlins, the baby of the family, is Jean's physical opposite, with curly, bleach blond hair and light brown eyes. He joins Jean in Gryffindor and delves into the esoteric study of Ancient Runes. As burly as his father and brother Stan, he becomes a Beater, and in his Fifth Year, becomes a Prefect. After Hogwarts, he goes to work in the prosecutor's office in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, dreaming of one day being invited to join the Wizengamot.
