Deceased King: Cyrus Ludovic Augustin Isidore
Dowager Queen: Theodosia Viviana Alexandrina Eleanor [41]
King: Vincent Theodore Dmitry Solomon [24]
Queen: Octavia Lucienne Constantina Valeria [21]
Princess: Genoveva Therasia Cornelia Agata [nb]
From the Royal House of Valdimere
In the Kingdom of Nighlin
[Changed ethnicities of Tereza and Agatha]
This year Vincent and Octavia welcomed their first child. Tavia had not thought of herself as a mother. She was a most unconventional queen, frequently locked in her tower rooms messing with her ideas and inventions. While this is and always would be what he loved about her as queen, he could not deny her somewhat unconventional mentality as queen. Would it be a problem? Perhaps, perhaps not. The court was, however, quiet as it became apparent that Octavia was pregnant. She gave birth to a raven haired, amber-eyed beauty who was her mother's spitting image. They chose her names with care. Octavia wanted something unduly exotic, so they chose Genoveva as her first name. Princess Genoveva of Nighlin? Wasn't it perfect? The Dowager Theodosia even rummaged in the family history and found a barbarian queen of ancient Nighlin named Genoveva, and it all seemed to fit. The middle name Therasia fitted the same pattern of names Vincent had inherited from his mother - the Dowager was Theodosia, his middle name was Theodore and they decided for the related name of Therasia to continue the pattern. Her other name of Cornelia was a mere split decision and Agata was for her mother's, Octavia's, grandmother. While her grandmother had been Agafya Zrkic, the variant Agata seemed more elegant.
Princess Genoveva's birth is duly welcomed in the Kingdom, and there are much celebrations. Although it is unlikely that Genoveva will ever inherit the throne, the public are delighted at the birth of a daughter to a royal father and peasant mother. Banners welcome her birth in the street. The King and Queen are more quietly pleased. Genoveva was not planned, and they suddenly have to balance their lives and their child's life in sudden synchronicity. Queen Octavia suffers more, having the balance the life of being a queen, her scientific mentality and her new child. The King and Queen bicker frequently and the court draws in for the show. After a few months, however, Octavia and Vincent are as harmonious as ever, and have found a way to juggle their new child between public life, family life and personal interests. All is well... or is it?
