On first look, I'd say DAH-dah. However, if it was the name of a child, I'd say DAY-dah. I actuall quite like Dayda or Daida.

It can be pronounced as DAH-DAH, as in a nickname for a father, or as DAW-DAW. My friend Dawn Anne uses Dada with the latter pronunciation as a nickname.

Makes me think of a baby's first word or something, like da-da for Daddy. I don't like it.Off topic: Over-punctation is generally frowned upon here to the point that we've made a game of adopting the excess punctuation marks. See my profile for an example. Just a friendly notice. :)
