[Opinions] Sunniva?
Pronounced soo-NEEV-ah I believe, what do you think of it? What would you think of if you were to meet a girl with this name, what would you imagine her to be like?

Pretty sounding name... Thinking either northern European immigrant family or hippy/granola/vegetarian sort of parents, but it's ok. Nice and not way out there while still being not super common.

I've always heard it pronounced SUN-ih-vah, I love it, and adore Sunny on a girl. I think it would fit just about anyone, exotic to blond cheerleader.

I always think of a young, cheerful Indian girl of maybe 13, with a bright smile.I love this name!

Sunniva isn't a new name to me, but I haven't met one. I wouldn't exactly be surprised if I met one, but it would be fun. I don't imagine a Sunniva to be in a certain way, except happy perhaps. Sunniva sounds like a happy and "summer-ish" name to me. It's an alright name.

I love Sunniva and I'd be thrilled to meet one of any age (never have had the pleasure). Maybe because it brings to mind the word 'sunny,' I think of Sunniva having blonde hair and a sunny disposition. :-) BTW, there used to be a semi-regular on here who changed her child's name to Sunniva when she was still an infant.

I like it; I think it's very pretty. Sunny would be a cute NN.

I love it! I love its meaning and I love all the nn possibilities (Sunny, Eve / Eva, etc.) I'm not sure I'd ever use it though. Even though I know how it's pronounced and love it so I still see "Sun-iv-uh" or "Son of a" and I fear everyone else in my area would too. If I lived somewhere where it was more common I wouldn't hesitate to use it. Or maybe if I were ok with tweaking the spelling to Sunneva or Suneva.

I love it, it's a gorgeous name. May I also suggest Solveig to you? It's another favorite.I'm not sure what as Sunniva would be like - it's a name that doesn't come with an image to me. I suspect she'd be intelligent, perhaps from another country - but that's all I can come up with.
