Help[Games] Nyx' Royal Congrats - Round 2
If you didn't catch it before, this will be a slow paced Congrats game. I will try and get a new round up at least once a week. Because I am taking things so slowly, I won't worry about dropping people until they've missed 4 rounds without informing me of what is going on. General Rules: Please age everybody in your family 3 to 6 years (you might consider the age this will make your Queen, as we will have at least 3-5 more births). Everybody has received a random, twin-pairing (do NOT change the age of the new twins). Every child must have at least 2 (or more) MNs. Each child must use at least one of the names from the namebanks with NO CHANGES (this can be a FN or a MN). Additionally, one child's FN must honor the Dowager King/Queen (if both are deceased you can chose who to honor). Any remaining FNs/MNs are your choice.
Writing Prompt: In the end, the Queen got her wish to wait a little after her first pregnancy. Did the long wait end up being entirely intentional, or was it accidental as she could not conceive as easily the second time? Whatever is the case, the Kingdom once again rejoiced when they found out their Queen was pregnant. This pregnancy took more out of the Queen, and when she gave birth to twins the reason was obvious. There has been a big push for the Queen to consider trying for another pregnancy before too long. The Royal Advisors aren't fond of the thought of a twin as Heir-Apparent, as people can use their birth to argue that the other one should have been named King/Queen.

For the part I bolded, does that mean we're free for the remaining names, so we could choose names not in the namebank? Or does this mean we're free to alter the names in the namebank like we could in round 1? Thanks!

You can chose names outside of the namebanks.
ex: Henry honors the Dowager Queen (you could just as easily chose to use the Princess to honor the Dowager however). Rufus and Ellen are names directly from the name banks. The remaining FNs/MNs are for your to chose and do not have to be reflected from anywhere.

That hadn't been the case, but the dowager made it perfectly clear that she would have no qualms with souring Vincent against his bride if the new queen didn't toe the line. Octavia was far from distraught; in fact, she was furious, and frequently wondered what she'd signed herself up for. Nonetheless, King Vincent was more sympathetic to his wife's request and they quietly decided not to have any more children for a while.
Meanwhile, Princess Genoveva was growing up fast, and even though she would never inherit the thrown, or perhaps because of this fact, was frequently spoiled. She was her mother's daughter, though, and seemed fated to grow into a tomboy. This was not a good thing, the king and queen were told, and they shouldn't really shrug it off. Octavia thought that Nighlin should be more progressive towards women's places in society if it was going to progress like Vincent wanted it to. Nighlin was still a very backwards kingdom, as Octavia often observed as courtiers and advisers asked probing questions about her lack of pregnancy. She knew they would just love it if Vincent's affections towards his queen had failed, or she secretly hated him, or if, best of all, they were simply unable to have any more children.

He became the blacksmith's apprentice, posing under the name Philip Anthony. He had a natural talent at the forge, and the town wondered where this mysterious man had come from. Many a young Kyrnian woman fell in love with the blacksmith's handsome young apprentice, but Breccan's heart belonged only to Cecilia.
One day Breccan was sent to the royal palace to re-shoe the king's horses. It was during that trip that he ran into Cecilia and her daughter. Cecilia could not believe her eyes; she thought she had wandered into a dream. When she realized that it was not a dream -- that she was finally reunited with her long-lost love -- she was overjoyed. She and Breccan continued to meet in secret, which wasn't difficult, seeing as how Joseph Wilhelm was presently distracted by rumors of a plot against him.
But this distraction did not keep the king from noticing that his wife's mood was much improved. Of course, Cecilia knew the real reason, but Joseph Wilhelm mistook her sudden happiness for love. He believed he had finally won over her affections, and so he began asking for her more often. Some nights, Cecilia would feign illness and then rush to meet Breccan. Many a young Kyrnian woman fell in love with the blacksmith's handsome young apprentice, but Breccan's heart belonged only to Cecilia.
One day Breccan was sent to the royal palace to re-shoe the king's horses. It was during that trip that he ran into Cecilia and her daughter. Cecilia could not believe her eyes; she thought she had wandered into a dream. When she realized that it was not a dream -- that she was finally reunited with her long-lost love -- she was overjoyed. She and Breccan continued to meet in secret, which wasn't difficult, seeing as how Joseph Wilhelm was presently distracted by rumors of a plot against him.
But this distraction did not keep the king from noticing that his wife's mood was much improved. Of course, Cecilia knew the real reason, but Joseph Wilhelm mistook her sudden happiness for love. He believed he had finally won over her affections, and so he began asking for her more often. Some nights, Cecilia would feign illness and then rush to meet Breccan. But she was no fool -- she knew that to keep rejecting the king would end badly for her, and without her guidance, Genevieve would grow up to be as ruthless as her father. And so she obliged her husband and played the part of dutiful wife.

Emeline was in no hurry to another child after Gaspard's birth, rather she and Jacques were truly just enjoying being a family. All was well in Rossinest and even Jacques's father had seemed to get the message that he was not a welcome part of their lives any longer.
When Gaspard was 3 years old the King and Queen decided that it was time to produce more heirs and set to the oh so difficult task of trying to make a baby. Emeline found herself expecting once again without too much effort and the Kingdom rejoiced. Right from the beginning however, Emeline felt that this pregnancy was different. She was exhausted constantly, more ill than she could ever remember being before in her life and for the first few months found it exceedingly difficult just to rise out of her bed in the mornings. Her stomach grew much larger as well. Jacques supported her as much as possible and between himself and Emeline's brothers they managed to make it so Emeline had very little stress to concern herself with.
Time passed and for the last month Emeline stayed in bed. Young Gaspard would spend his days curled up at his mothers side reading to her, or just ensuring that she had everything she needed in a way that only a son who adores his mother can.

As Basi approached his third birthing-day, Pippa decided that she was ready to have more children. She and Ten decided to not make a big deal out of it, as they didn't want the Kingdom speculating needlessly. As it was, Pippa got pregnant almost immediately after they started trying. However, she lost the baby before she had made it to the 3 month announcement. Luckily, she was able to once again get pregnant soon after, and this time she was able to carry to term.
Almost 7 months after Prince Basilio's 3rd birthing-day celebration, King Estienne and Queen Felipa were announcing to the people of Elsey the pregnancy of the HRH Queen Felipa. The celebration was almost as big as it was for Queen Felipa's first pregnancy. It turns out that the 3½ year wait had many of the Kingdom on edge and fearful that the good Queen couldn't have any more children.
This pregnancy was harder on Pippa than her first was. She found herself tired, and needing a nap in the middle of the day. She couldn't hold down any food, and felt nauseous whenever there was food or food smells around her. All in all, it was a miserable pregnancy. When Pippa went into labor at the end of her eighth month, the matron-priestess were sure that the child would be born sickly and small. They were surprised when two fairly healthy, albeit small, princesses were born.
