Marina and Ivica welcomed fraternal twin daughters Mia and Tia (pr. MEE-ah and TEE-ah) on August 24th. They've joined older sibling Leon (8) and Tara (5) (pr. LEH-on and TAH-rah).

As you can see matchy twin names are unfortunately well and alive here. Separately, I don't mind the names, even if they are a bit too short for my taste.

Just for fun, here are some other twins I know (all ages):

Mia and Tia are a little trendy and cutesy for my taste too, but I guess not so bad on their own.

I think Marina and Marinko get the fail prize. Not only are they very similar in sound, they're actually the same name. Sigh.

Mia and Tia is completely ridiculous. I wouldn't mind so much if they even had longer names to use (Amelia and Theresia or something). I also think Tia is too close to sister Tara. I do like Leon though!
