[Opinions] Re: Aristotle
I would be much more excited to meet a Michelle or a Christine or a male Aubrey. Only a few names feel pretentious to me, and Aristotle is definitely one of those few names. I doubt an Aristotle would be teased for his name, for I know at least with my generation that philosophers aren't nearly as well-known as the likes of pop stars and actors. I'd be far more concerned about the fact that he shared his name with an infamously misogynistic man who was convinced that women were incomplete or mutilated men. This quality was not rare among philosophers, but it would definitely keep me ten million kilometres away from this name.
