Baby Milo is the latest in a long line of changes for the Morelli family. First, Annie decided to branch out and try her hand at directing. Getting behind the camera for a romantic drama, she received much positive feedback for her efforts and really enjoyed the experience. Leo and Annie also opened a production company, Delmore Productions, the name formed from the first syllables of their last names. And Annie surprised everyone when she starred in a remake of the classc movie 42nd Street as Peggy. Though it was known that she had done musicals on Broadway, the general population had never witnessed this side of her talent. The movie was a critical and commercial hit, and Annie has gotten offers to do more musical movies. And then finally, Rosy has recently asked her parents to let her try her hand at acting. Annie, remembering her own childhood, will only agree to let her start small. She doesn't want her daughter to get burned out, but has allowed her to accept a role as Young Jane in the most recent movie adaptation of Jane Eyre. Annie and Leo were very proud of Rosy's performance and the other actors and crew were impressed with her professionalism and hard work. Her performance was generally well-received, with one critic calling her "a vibrant and exciting young talent." Charlotte and Orion are not yet interested in working, though both have appeared briefly in movies their parents have made whenever a small child is needed. Both are much more interested in playing and school right now, much to Annie and Leo's relief.
Baby Milo caused a media sensation, being the first Morelli child in five years. He was given the middle name of both grandfathers, the famous writer/director John Milo Delaney and the businessman Giacomo Jesse Morelli. Milo looks a great deal like his father, but there is a decent dose of Annie in his face.
