I would name a dd Aoife tomorrow, so I'm very unhappy to see any changes in her spelling, however user-friendly they may be. If the parents couldn't handle Aoife as is, they should leave her to the less faint of heart. It's the "Aoi-" part that's the toughest. The "-e" on the end is child's play compared to that. What an odd way to alter Aoife. . . . My current stock combo for her is Aoife Rosalind or Aoife Margaret / Mairead.
