I like it, but it's possibly a bit dated.

I am considering this, but only as Alice-ee-ya.
A-leash-ah makes me throw up a little, so I have had to scrap the whole name.

I really like Alicia pronounced the Silverstone way. I'm just not sure that pronunciation would ever fly where I live.

I don't like it. It seems dated to me. I prefer Elysia, which I pronounce eh-LEE-zee-ah.

I don't mind Alicia. It's a bit of a chameleon in terms of spelling and pronunciation, though, and that turns me off the name some.
When it's pronounced a-LEE-see-a, I like it, but only the hispanic Alicias seem to be able to pull that off where I live. The caucasian and African-American Alicias all seem to be a-LEE-sha, and half of them spell it Alisha or Alysha.

How do you pronounce it? ah-LISS-ee-uh or a-LEE-sha?
I like the first pronounciation but not the second. I wouldn't use it because I would be worried that people would use the a-LEE-sha pronounciation which I hate. I definitely prefer Alice.
I know one Alicia who is 20 and pronounces it the first way.

I don't mind it. My sister's name is Alycia. I prefer Alyssa.

It's ok. Had a bit of a popularity spike in the 80s... While it doesn't overly excite me, it's kind of pretty. Depending on what it's paired with, it could be quite lovely on the right person... I've seen it spelled both Alicia and Alisha and I think I lean more towards Alicia... oh... I've seen Aleesha too, but I wouldn't do that.

I only like it pronounced ah-LEE-see-ah. I think it's very pretty that way. I hate ah-LISH-a and al-ISH-a.
It's a bit 70s dated but still beautiful. But I guess people would never pronounce it the way I'd want them to and as I can't stand the -isha pronunciations I wouldn't use it. I also hate how there are so many spellings: Alecia, Alisha (I'd actually fear people would spell it that way more than Alicia if you used the -isha pronunciation), Alysha etc Also the nickname Al is unattractive. I knew an Alicia who went by Al, she was a tomboy. I don't like Allie either, but I do like Lecie (LEE-see) for ah-LEE-see-ah.
I also really like Elissa and Alice.

More 80s than 70s... Don't recall meeting any Alicias my age, but lots younger.

I like it spelled Alesia, but in that case I'd feel more inclined to pronounce it more ah-LAY-zee-uh, like Alésia, an ancient city in Gaul. Do you think Ah-LEE-see-ah would work for Alesia? I really love the sound, but, as you said, I imagine the poor girl would only get called Ah-LEE-shuh the whole time if I spelled it Alecia or Alicia. .

I like how it's a city and has a different origin. But most people will mistake it for a really trendy misspelling unless you do Alésia, but then as you said, they will say ah-LAY-see-ah or ah-LAY-zee-ah which is not bad, but not what you want.
I'd just go with the classic Alicia and do the explaining :/ I mean Alicia Silverstone pronounces hers ah-LEE-see-a and she gets by. It's not a weird pronunciation and the name isn't common nowadays so it would work.
I also like Alissia, Alyssia and Elysia, Elissia, but I guess they're too trendy looking and sound a bit different from ah-LEE-see-ah. Elysia has a different origin and a cool meaning as does Elissa which I also like but wouldn't use because people would think it was Alyssa.

I prefer Alice. And I'm not really fond of the sha pronounciation either... I like Ah-lees-ee-ah.

Depends on how it's pronounced. I don't like it when it's pronounced with a SHA sound.
