I love it.
I don't think it will get super common because of Harry Potter, but it will probably become slightly more popular because it was pretty much unheard of before.
I don't care about the Harry Potter connection (but then I do love HP!). The only reason I wouldn't use it is because there are no decent nicknames for Hermione.
