I personally love Brigid, and I like it a lot more than Bridget-to me, Brigid seems fiery and strong, while Bridget, though having a strong sound, is more girl-next-door to me.

Is it supposed to be pronounced like Brighid or more like Bridget? I like the way it looks. It's nice and smooth and happy looking. I like either Brighid or Bridget a lot too, so the pronunciation won't affect it. It doesn't seem like a sassy name to me though, more gentle and soft-spoken. Although I can see a Brigid not taking any crap. :)

I find it too close to the word "frigid". I prefer Bridget.
