[Opinions] Anona
What do you think of Anona or Annona? I just saw this name on Nameberry, today. Do you think it would be a good name to use to honor a friend named Autumn?

I like Anona, just that spelling. I like that it's a palindrome and it has an interesting sound. But I don't really see a connection to Autumn, other than the first initial, to be honest.

Annona was the name of the Roman goddess of harvest. It means "Of the Harvest"

Ah, well in that case, yes. Clearly you've done your research!

If that is the case, I think it is a good way to honor and have a lovely name. I like the Anona spelling better though.

I like it! I like Anona. Annona is just too namy N's!
My dad's family is Jewish, so they have a lot of first-initial honoring going on in their line. If that's what you're going for with it honoring Autumn, I think it would work fine.
