I love both so much. They're competing.Which goes better with Susannah as a sister?

I like how uncommon Agnes is these days, but I prefer Alice. It sounds softer and more refined. It also sounds great with Susannah. Susannah and Agnes would work for sisters, but Alice is more fitting.

Alice is like a slice of sunshine for Susannah's sunflower!!Agnes is the earth thatthe sunflower grows in... Still a good name and vital too.. just not as bright.

Agnes fits well w/ Susannah when said together w/ Agnes first in the combo as Agnes and Susannah, but I don't really like Agnes... Boring as it's become with its increased use the past few years, I prefer Alice. It works w/ Susannah too.

I love Agnes, and I'm only lukewarm on Alice, but I still think Alice would be a better pick for Susannah's sister. They have a similar vibe.

AliceI just can't get myself to like Agnes. I tried but I still think it's ugly. Susannah and Alice make a cute sibset.

ok... so I guess I'm not the only one on here who doesn't see the appeal of Agnes.

Alice 100 times! I think Agnes is unattractive, with the hard G sound in there, and it's such an old lady name. Alice may be a little more common, but it has a much softer sound and I find it a lot easier to imagine on a small child. I love Alice.

Easily Alice.

I think Agnes and Susannah sound like sisters in their 60s. Alice and Susannah are better for young sisters, in my opinion.

Then they sound more like they're in their 40s or 50s?

Alice by far is my preferred! However may I suggest Astrid, or Astor?

How about Xan & Senga? Love Xan as a nick for Suzi Q. Susannah and Adelaide would be my pick

I like Agnes much more, but I think Alice goes better with Susannah as a sister. They have similar feels to me--both very light and breezy.
