After the birth of Lily, Vincent announced that he'd fallen in love with a girl from one of his tutoring sessions. She was a princess in the country of Deneb, one of the younger daughters who had no chance of reaching the throne, but still reached for a marriage that would leave her well looked after (thus her pursuit of knowledge). Seeing as the young man was only 15, and the girl in question was only 13, King Dorian refused to see the two engaged. After a year and a half of dating, King Dorian met with Raisa's father, King Derek Adam Elliot of Deneb. They considered their children's long-term relationship a sign that, perhaps, this marriage might actually work out. They married a year after that inital engagement, with the royal family calling Raisa "Rai," as a term of endearment. The country loves the gorgeous new princess, known by her title as Duchess of Blyke.
About a month and a half after the marriage of her step son, whom she's getting along with at this particular moment in time, Emme gave birth to the newest addition to the family, her daughter Jaya. Jaya joins a large family, just as her sister Briseis did two years before (right before Vincent voiced a willingess to marry the woman he'd fallen in love with).
