Help[Games] Britt's Kingdom Congrats Round 1 Sign-ups Welcome!
Sorry for the long delay in getting a round up, real life got in the way. Sign ups, especially in the Royal Family, Nobility, and Wealthy and Influential categories, are still welcome, though every category is of course open. Just follow the link to read up on the congrats and then sign up here. Just give yourself a daughter and a backstory.
This round everyone has gotten a daughter, partially to make new sign-ups easier and partially because I am too lazy just now to randomly assign children.
Prompt: One year has passed since the marriage of the Royal Children. The king and queen have welcomed their first grandchildren--all granddaughters! It seems there has been a bit of a baby boom in this past year. This is not unusual in the periods after evil magic is defeated, as the celebration atmosphere leads to many private celebrations as lively as public ones. The recent royal births have sparked interest, as people are wondering if the royal children will follow the tradition of inviting all the most powerful fairies and enchanters to be the new prince or princess's godparents. The rumor circulating is that the royal children are flouting tradition, still too skittish after their recent ordeals with magic. It is said that the spells they faced have left side-effects as well, though none but the royals know if this is true.

Rules:
1. Three rounds and dropped. All missed rounds should be made up in the current round
2. Ages are required. I will keep up with them.
3. At least one middle name is required, but you can have as many as you want.
4. Stories are strongly encouraged but not required other than a few lines to tell about your couple in the sign up. Pictures are allowed as well.
5. Any questions, just ask, and have fun!

Adam and Belle were overjoyed to welcome a baby girl just over a year past their wedding. Belle was not sure whether she wanted the traditional fairy blessing / godparents thing for their baby – who they named Louisa – but Adam was firm on his stance. He did not want to let the rumours come true, and he did not want people to think he was afraid of magic. His experiences only made him stronger, and only a little more wary of magic. He convinced Belle to follow this tradition, promising her Louisa would be safe and sound, and that it was a good thing. He hoped he was right.

As I assume the story is not very well known, here's the short version: King send his three sons out to catch a golden bird, the two elder princes fail, but the youngest keeps trying. He ends up catching the bird, a golden horse, and winning the hand of the golden princess. The fox that was his firend and adviser throughout his adventures turns out to be the princesses brother. (Slightly more detailed synopsis: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Golden_Bird#Synopsis)
I took the names from a Portuguese story book, but modified the princesses name to be French, taking inspiration from royal family trees of both countries. (Not entirely sure I'll stick to those two languages only though)

This congrats isn't taking place in the real world, but in a fictional kingdom called Tayl in a fictional world. Gustavo would be Adam and Flora's brother. You may want to modify your story a bit to fit or you could list your family as Foreign Presence. Either way is fine.

Alright, just ignore the France part. I was thinking more about linguistic influences than about a fixed geographic plot element; it doesn't really matter where they reside.

At the tender age of 16, young and beautiful Tryphine's father Waroch informs her that she is to be married to his friend and ally, the Breton King Conomor, a large, frightening man with a strange blue-colored beard. Tryphine adamantly refuses: Conomor's previous three wives had all died under mysterious circumstances, and rumors had circled around the Breton court that he had murdered each other them upon them becoming pregnant due to a prophecy a witch had made when he was a young man that any son born of him would kill him and usurp the throne. Conomor gets wind of Tryphine's refusal and threatens Waroch that he will invade his vassaldom and raze his lands if Tryphine didn't obey, forcing Tryphine to relent in order to keep her family safe. A few weeks after the wedding, Tryphine explores her new chateau while Conomor is away hunting, and discovers a secret room through a false wall in one of the many empty rooms, filled with what Tryphine assumed to be possessions of her husband's departed wives: hair combs, jewelry boxes, pieces of embroidery, even a few hand-written letters. All of a sudden, as Tryphine is skimming one of the letters, a small bloodstain appears on the vellum and begins to grow. Horrified, Tryphine drops the piece of paper, and hearing a noise behind her, whirls around. The ghosts of three women have materialized out of thin air behind her--they were indeed the three murdered wives, who in turn explained to a terrified Tryphine that the rumors were indeed true and warned her to escape before she suffered the same fate. However, this is all complicated when a few weeks later, Tryphine begins to be dizzy and nauseous: she is indeed pregnant, and her days are numbered. As her pregnancy continues, Tryphine grows ever the more anguished, desperately trying to devise a plan of escape.

Recounted the story and gave myself a daughter. I'm kind of combining the tradional Bluebeard story with the Breton lai of Conomor the Accursed, which the story was apparently based on.
