[Opinions] Re: Ginger

Ginger is a GP of mine.
I love names that end in an "r" sound to begin with. Plus, I love the soft "j" sound in names. So Ginger is catnip to my ears.
I say "guilty" pleasure because I know most people think of Ginger as a ditzy or even cheap name. I don't see it that way at all. I once saw a little red-headed girl named Ginger and it was so darling on her. Plus, there's Ginger Rogers dancing backwards with Fred Astaire. "Heaven, I'm in Heaven, . . . "
Ginger is one of the few "food" names that I love. Clementine is another. As I sit here typing the combination Ginger Clementine comes to mind. Too food-y? Perhaps. But it is very, very pleasing to me nonetheless.
My stock combinations for the name are Ginger Kate and Ginger Molly.
