Where I live, a chain of clothing stores has a house brand, "Ginger Mary", which targets young customers wanting trendy but comfortable clothes. All very laudable, but most of said items have the words GINGER MARY emblazoned across the bosom (or elsewhere), and this is an unfortunate association that I can't shake off. Plus, Ginger to me is a nn either for a redhead or for a Virginia, if there are any left. I could live happily ever after without it, but it's not the worst by any means.
