Vincente's twin, Alastair, married a Gentian girl, Lady Iseul.
Thea and Leor are in love. Leor has finally decided that he can forget Sola and love his new wife. Thea is overjoyed to feel finally accepted into the family. She spends as much time as possible with her children, though she pays special attention to Viviana, because she is heir to the Gentian throne.
