Beatriste makes me sad (har har har, get it?)
Beatrice, Beatriz, Beatrix, Beatriu, Beatrise are all very nice options, and I even really like Viatrix, but Beatriste, not so much. I have to admit that I'm pronouncing it beh-a-TREE-steh in my head and I think it sounds nice (I love Berenice pron. beh-reh-NEE-theh), but I can't get in to "triste" as part of a name, like I can't really ever support Dolores or Angustias or anything like that. I'm not much of a stickler for meanings, but the ones that show something clearly negative right in the name, I'm not game for.
