At first I read your title and thought this was a creative spelling of Asia. I'm glad to see that isn't so.
Anastasia is beautiful and Asya is fine as a nn for it. But I don't see it standing on its own. It needs context if for no other reason than pronunciation. I know a little girl named Asiyah ("ah-SEE-uh") and I can see Asya getting that pronunciation as well as Asia. Knowing that Asya comes from Anastasia would help to know how to say it.
