It sounds like a Russian word 'megera', which means 'a quarrelsome woman', so I can not take this name for real :)

I love it! And I thought she was his mom (?) Or someone's mom? Anyway I've seen the Disney Hercules, but I don't associate this name with it really. I like it.

I really like it and love nn Meg I just struggle with pronunciation. I have heard it said "MEG-ah-rah" which I don't care for but I love "meg-AYR-ah" - not sure which is actually correct. I suppose the Megaera spelling would lend itself to the latter pronunciation but then again I think I prefer the simplicity of Megara

I used to like it when I first saw that movie when I was a kid. I thought it would be a nice alternative to Megan. But now that I see it again it makes me think of Bagheera. Which is kind of neat, having a panther image, but it also makes it sort of not my thing. I think it would be totally usable.

I don't like it. It looks like the words "mega" and "era" thrown together and seems weird. Like the name of a party or a night club. It doesn't matter that it's from a Disney film. I doubt many people remember her. But Aurora, Ariel, Belle and Jasmine are lovely and Megaera is just weird to me. I also think there would be pronunciation/spelling problems.
