I like it. It's quirky without being too "out there."
I really like it, a lot. I almost love it. I think it looks lovely in spelling and has a very pretty sound as well. And has a nice nature connection to boot. Two thumbs up!
Really like it. I think it's beautiful. If I had enough daughters, I'd consider it... Have too many combos to make it that far, I think, but it's definitely useable and not overused. 2 thumbs up on this one.
A woman on another thread once wrote that she regrets not naming her dd Acacia. They had the nn Ace in mind for her. But they were talked out of it and used Anna instead. I specifically remember her saying that the child was very energetic and nn Ace would have suited her perfectly. I felt badly for her.
I always think of that when I see Acacia. I would have told the parents to use it. While I personally prefer Anna to Acacia, Acacia is a lovely name that has many nn possibilites (Ace, Caci / Casie). It's very usable and so if you love it then go for it.

I don't really like the sound of it. I'm not a fan of KAY sounds, nor of unstressed "uh" sounds at the beginning of a name. Otherwise it's okay, but still nms really.
I have always liked it.
How exactly do you pronounce it, just wondering? :)
Sighting and Pronounciation
A little girl who frequents my place of work is named Acacia, and I wasn't sure how to pronounce it either. She's the only person I've ever met with that name, but I discovered it a few years ago and thought it was lovely.
