I LOVE it. I think it would be so sweet on a little girl, nn Essie. Plus there's a great story behind it and it has a nice meaning.
It's my Mormor's (mum's mum) name, so unfortunately not a fn possibility for me :( but I plan on using it as a mn for my first DD after her. My combo is Xanthe Opal Esther (Opal is after my grandma).
I'd be over the moon to meet a young Esther.
