How would you pronounce Kata? I like the look of that one.

My mother's name is Katrina, and she toyed around with the idea of Kata when she was pregnant with my younger siblings....she was going to pronounce it Kay-tuh. Is that close?

Kata is pronounced KAH-tah (it can also have the stress on the second syllable).
