[Opinions] Thaddeus & Abel
I'm curious as to what people think of these two names.

I think both names are great. I do prefer Thaddeus for a mn and Abel works well for a fn or a mn imo.
I like both names .
HATE Thaddeus. Abel is nice
I like them. Especially Abel.
Ohh, I looove Thaddeus. Unfortunately I don't think its a name my fiance would ever agree to, but I can dream. Abel is ok but nms. Too much like a word for my liking.
I like 'em both. Thaddeus is awesome and he'd make the perfect little boy in an argyle sweater vest.
Abel is fun too. Simple yet unique. My favourite kind of name.

I don't care for Thaddeus. It's fun to say, but I can't think of any NN's I like, and that's a deal-breaker for me.
Abel is good. I prefer Cain, but Abel is a good name.

Such strong, quiet, serious names...I love both with a slight preference for Thaddeus.
Not a fan of Thaddeus but oh, Abel, Abel has been growing on me a lot. I really, really like it. Enought to start consider whether or not it's a name I would use in real life. I like it pronounced both like the word able and like AH-bel.
The only thing that bothers me a bit is that I think Abel comes across as a pretty religious name and I wouldn't call myself religious.

Don't you just hate when that happens?

I worry about this with my two favorites Eve and Abram - particularly if I used them together
nms, but interesting and they don't make me cringe and think "ew" or "lame" or anything. Nice change from the trendy stuff.
I really like Abel. It's got such a nice sound, and it's sensitive but strong and down-to-earth.
Thaddeus is nice, but I don't like it as much. It's just a bit too gentle for me. I'd like it more on someone if I knew no nicknames would be used because I don't like Tad or Thad.

Abel is one of those names that I absolutely love and always forget about. I just wrote it on a post it on my desk so I can brainstorm some combos for it tomorrow :-p It is very friendly and intelligent sounding.
I don't dislike Thaddeus but I don't love it either. I think it sounds kind of pretentious without a nickname and I don't like any of the nickname options. It is fine for someone else's child though.

I love Thaddeus so much. It's one of my more recent favorites. I just love how bookish and kind of pretentious it is. And I like Thad for short.
Abel is nice too. I'd love to see more of them around. It's one of the first names I added to my PNL. It sounds very friendly to me.

I adore Abel. It's one of my favourite boys names, although it can be hard to pair it with a middle name without it sounding like a description of a person. But I think it's very cool and would love to meet a little Abel.
Thaddeus on the other hand I just can't get into. It sounds so awkward and clunky and hulking to me. And I can't stand Thad or Tad.
