Ugh, I really hate surnames on girls. Mallory would have been a better choice, in my opinion. I wonder what the parents' reasoning was? "Well, there are little girls named Casey, Riley, Kennedy, Brody... why not O'Malley?" Nah. I'll bet it's "We like the name. It's cute."

I've heard of a few boys named O'Ryan. The parents may have been going for a kre8iv spelling of Orion, though.
