Two years after Eva was born, Marshall and Lily welcomed a new baby son to their family! They named him Wesley Michael, a name extremely meaningful for the couple. Wesley pays tribute to the place Marshall met Lily (as well as their friend Ted), Wesleyan University. Michael pays tribute to both he and Lily's fathers, Marvin and Mickey.

Two years after Wesley was born, they were so happy to find they were expecting again. Marshall and Lily wanted a big family, and were very conscious that they didn't have much time left. At their first scan they got the news that they were having TWINS! They couldn't believe it, but quickly got very excited about the prospect. It did seem like their life was about to get a bit chaotic but they decided that Lily would become a stay at home mum to all four kids and Marshall would keep his job at the Goliath National Bank. Lily couldn't wait to become a stay at home mum and spend more time with her babies.
