I had a horrid French teacher named Anabela but I try reeaaaallly hard not to let it influence me. Really,really hard.
That being said, I have a special fondness for frilly names. So, yes, it is frilly, but I like it anyway. I prefer Annabelle or Annabella, although Annabella always looks a little wrong to me. I adore Annabelle though. It's so cute and pretty and I love the (boring?) name Anna.
