I think that would be a really cool middle name! I love unusual names and i've never met anyone with "bliss" as one of their names.

Blythe seems safer.Bliss sounds dirty to me. Always kind of has, always kind of will. I can only think of one kind of bliss when I hear it, and that's not the sort (I hope) one would name a child for. (Even if it brought the child into being, ha!)Other "safer" names:
Beata
Felicity / Felicia / Felice
Joy / Joya / Jocosa
Elysia
Sachiko
Delight (fine as a middle name)
Charmian
Delicia
Allegra
Sunny
Hilary / Hillary / Hilaria / Ilaria
Blythe
Edina
Masego

I agreeBliss is a stripper name to me. It would be OK as a middle name, but the names uggested by Array are much safer, and their meanings are just as nice!

I don't think I would like it as a first name but it does sound very pretty as a middle name!

I like Bliss - the only negative connotations I have with it is the fact that it's the first syllable of "blister".

I wouldn't use it, but it's a great idea in the world of Rose, Mae, Ann, Hope and others.
Even if I have to admit I really like Rose and it isn't as common where I live yet.

No.There's a (Canadian, I think) TV show called Bliss that's basically softcore porn, so that's what I think of right away. And even without that association, the sexual connotations are just too strong.

Sometimes I just feel like smacking people with the dictionary, just to see if they absorb any intelligence through osmosis.

It's okay, nms but okay. If you like the meaning, I think Elyse or Elysia is prettier.
