[Opinions] Máiri and Mòrag
I mentioned in my response to the thread entitled 'Morag' that not too long ago, I had considered Máiri and Mòrag as names for twin girls (and I had also mulled over the possibility of using them as names for girls that weren't twins.) What do you think of Máiri and Mòrag and what do do you think of the combos Máiri Davina and Mòrag Heather?

Mashka,
I really love Máiri and Mòrag apart and together! They are such lovely Scottish names! I do also like Davina and Heather, mostly for their Scottish background, but I don't really think the combos you mentioned flow very well. I would go with Máiri Heather and Mòrag Davina because I think they flow better and Mòrag really neads a name that ends in -a or -ia to soften it a little. WDYT? :)

I can do nothing but agree with your statement about Máiri and Mòrag being lovely Scottish names. :)
When I was actually typing out the post, I couldn't decide whether I liked Heather more with Máiri or with Mòrag, so I made a split second decision so that I could get the message posted. Looking back now, I think Davina looks better with Mòrag. I was also thinking about Mòrag Caitríona, but that's probably a little too heavy on the Scottish. :) Mòrag is, admittedly, not at first glance very feminine, so I agree that it needs an 'A' or '-ia' ending to soften it up.
Thanks for your response!
