[Opinions] Jubilee
Michelle Duggar (of 19 Kids and Counting) recently suffered a miscarriage of the couples 20th child. The baby was a girl and the family decided to name her Jubilee Shalom Duggar. While the name isn't my taste, I do feel for the family. Losing a child (no matter how many you already have) is heartbreaking.
The other Duggar children are named:
1. Joshua James
2 Jana Marie
3 John-David
4 Jill Michelle
5 Jessa Lauren
6 Jinger Nicole
7 Joseph Garrett
8 Josiah Matthew
9 Joy-Anna
10 Jedidiah
11 Jeremiah
12 Jason Michael
13 James Andrew
14 Justin Samuel
15 Jackson Levi
16 Johannah Faith
17 Jennifer Danielle
18 Jordyn-Grace Makiya
19 Josie Brooklyn

Interesting... Def. sad for the fam... Not sure Jubilee is quite my style as a name, but preferable to some other word names... and even preferable to Jackson and Joy-Anna... and Jinger w/ a J.

I am not a fan of the name, but for a child that did not make it, I think it has a beautiful meaning.

I like Jubilee actually. It's not something I would use on a child IRL, but for a baby that didn't make it, I think the combo makes alot of sense and is just right.I know that a lot of people feel they should stop having children, and maybe they are right, but loosing a child, your 1st or your 20th, is a very difficult thing.

I knew a Jubilee in middle school. She was adopted from Haiti as a toddler and already had the name. It worked well for her; she was a very free spirit and loved her name. I personally don't like the name. It's hard to argue with feeling awful for the Duggars. I know a lot of people would say that it's time to stop having kids, and I certainly agree, but to have that set in front of you and to lose it has to be the most devastating thing.

Jubilee is interesting as a name, but it's not something I would use myself. It's a fun name, but on the tacky side. I'm not wild about the sound of it either.
