[Opinions] Coral vs. Coralie
So I have historically liked the name Coralie and really hated Coral. However, courtesy of Bear, I now actually kind of like Coral. Hmm. What are your thoughts on the name? Do you prefer Coral or Coralie? Why? What combos would you make with it? Thanks!

CoralI like Coralie really well, too. I just like Coral a little better. You could always use Coralie and give her the nickname Coral. I think Coral would make a nice middle name, but it can still be used as a first name.

Coralie is kinda cutesie for my liking, though Coralee is ok. I think I prefer Coral, but both are acceptable.

I prefer Coralie. I don't really see Coralie as related to Coral. I always see Cora-lie rather than Coral-ie, if that makes sense.

CoralieCoral just seems like more of an old lady name...Coralie is more modern and french, which I like.

CoralI preffer Coral because it doesn't sound like a diminutive.:0)

Coral!I prefer Coral. Coralie is too cutesy. Coral is sweet and pretty but still has substance.

Hm, never really thought about either to tell you the truth. I think I like Coralie with the nn Coral. Coral on it's own is a little too word-y for me. At the same time, there is something rather alluring about Coral. Hm. I'm so torn...

Oh, wow. Coral Ginevra is knocking my socks off (and I'm at work!). Coralie Maeve is my favorite from your spunky Coralie set.

I like Coral and Coralie equally. To me Coral is like Pearl or Amethyst. You reach for it when you want a nature-y name or just a gorgeous color image. Coralie is more of an elaborated Cora to me, like Jeanie is to Jean or Rosie is to Rose. I guess what I'm saying is that they perform different functions in my eyes and aren't really comparable.Combos...Coral Antigone
Coral Parthenia
Coral Parthenope
Coral Adelaide
Coral Francisca
Coral Bethany
Coral Georgine
Coral Theodosia
Coral Euphemia
Coral Dionisia
Coral Marguerite
Coral Berenice
Coral Faustine / Faustina
Coral Georgiana (I pronounce this geor-JANE-ah, but whatever works)
Coral Psamathe (too beach theme-y? Psamathe means "sand goddess")
Coral Genevieve
Coral Rosamund
Coral Irene
Coral Sabine / Sabina
Coral Mathilde
Coral Tamsin
Julia CoralFor some reason I want to pair more exotic middle names with Coral.

I like Coral better, Coralie's a bit too frilly.

I like Cora more than either of them, but of the two, I prefer Coral. Something about Coralie sounds fussier and more "backwoods" than Coral. Coral Adrienne, Coral Joanna, Coral Natalie?

I'd prefer Coralie but don't love it. Love Cora.

I like Coral and Coralie. I think Coralie sounds younger. I like that Coral is definitely Coral, while Coralie could be thought of as Cora-lie or Coral-ie. I prefer Coraline to any of them though :)

I like Coraline, but it'll get turned into Caroline a lot. :(

Coral isn't really my style. Of Coral, Coralie, and Cora, it's my least favorite. But I don't dislike it; I would like to meet one, but I just wouldn't use it myself.

At the risk of losing you, may I suggest Coral Evadne? (***puts hands over eyes but peeks through***)

You pulled me in farther!!! I love Evadne!
