[Games] Albus Snape Dumbledo Future Congrats-Sign Up's
Hello Everyone! This Name Game will be about the future.
What do you think a family will be like living in the future?
What conditions will they be in? What kinds of jobs will they have?
You can make the family living in poverty, the middle class, the upper class, or be the rulers of the country.
Also include the year.
It can take place in an excising country, or somewhere made-up.
Stories are very encouraged.
People must have a First, Middle, and Last name. (If you would like to include the wife maiden name, that is fine.)
Include people's age as well.
I will start dropping people after missing about 3 rounds, and/or when it becomes obvious that you have quit.
Here's the starting set up:

In the year 2210, the world is both a simpler and more complicated place. In the century-and-a-half before, medicine and technology had leapt ahead and diplomacy had made great strides. This led to many extremely good things: cures for virtually all diseases, conflicts being handled without war, the gradual reversal of environmental damage done by humans and near-elimination of pollution. And yet all these advances were revealed to come at high costs. For one, people simply weren't dying. Average life spans had increased to 100 plus years, which led to a huge spike in population. While couples with more than two children were increasingly rare, great-great-grandfathers were still around. Strict limitations on development meant that people crowded into established cities, with many towns that at the time of their last expansion held perhaps fifty thousand people now forced to hold twice that or more. By 2140, the world population was over 10 billion; even with all the advances and some expansion allowed, there simply weren't enough resources to go around. Earth had simply gotten too full. Crime rates rose for the first time in generations, and poverty rates were staggering. In this same year of 2140, the phenomenon known simply as The Dying Years is estimated to have begun. As the name implies, the decade between 2140-2150 saw death rates not even the Black Death in the 1300s could top. But it wasn't sickness that took the people. Crime rates skyrocketed as desperation took hold of the world population. Drug use especially exploded, with people foregoing the expensive designer pill drugs for cheap old-fashioned ones like crystal meth and heroin.

DH: Gian-Nathan Jacob Michele di Libri (25)
DW: Amaryllia Nicolia [di Dio] di Libri (23)
Living in the city of Casa-di-amore in the country of Paese di Gesù Cristo in the year of 5555.
In the year 5555, Gian-Nathan and Amaryllia are a young couple in love. Many things have changed. The people reverted to the ways of the Medieval time once they realized how badly technology was corrupting them. The countries we knew back in 2011 all split up. The United States is now more than 50 individual countries. Germany has split. Poland has split. Russia has split into almost 100 countries. Italy has split. And out of those new "Italian" countries, comes the country in which Gian-Nathan and Amaryllia live.
Paese di Gesù Cristo is a country which speaks Italian and English--all countries now speak English as well as at least one other, as English has become the world language. P.d.G.C.--as it is called for short--is (supposedly) a thoroughly Catholic country. But, like everywhere else, it has its problems. P.d.G.C. is governed by a family who claims to be Catholic, yet does many things against the Catholic teachings. There are many homosexuals in the di Libri family. There are many who use contraception in the di Libri family. There are many who abort their children in the di Libri family. There are many who allow euthanasia in the di Libri family. Almost all of them commit polygamy, as well as incest and adultery. There have been a few who were murderers. There have been a few who have simply completely thrown the Church out of the picture and gone his one way. In short, the ruling family is in a bad way.
Unfortunately, Gian-Nathan's father is the great Giovanni di Libri, ruler of Paese di Gesù Cristo. Gian-Nathan's mother is Giovanni's aunt. So the di Libri family is just slightly... messed up. Giovanni doesn't even realize that he has another son--after all, he already has many. Why would he need another?
In contrast, Amaryllia's father is the kind, well-loved Lupo di Dio--the librarian and the youth minister at Chiesa dei Santi Carmelitani, the local Catholic church. Amaryllia's mother is an immigrant from Nascondiglio dei Carmelitani--a neighboring small country. Amaryllia's family is quite loved throughout all of Paese di Gesù Cristo.

DH: Mason Carter BenTill (22)
DW: Effie Kay BenTill (20)
Living in the city of New York in the country of The United States.
Mason Carter BenTill is a cop in the city of New York in the year 2237. The Conditions are extremely hot, since the ozone layer has been wore down so much. Everyone is wearing very protective gear, and never seeing the light of day. Tunnels underground protect them from the outside. Mason protects the tunnels, since many people are trying to sneek into the labs and control much of the world. Mason met Effie durring school. She is also a cop, but much more secretive. Also, much of the wildlife, plants and animals are dead. They couldn't adapt the the underground life. But a few animals are left, like dogs and cats and obviously the animals that live underground. Mason and Effie are living in the middle class, but they don't make much. The middle class of 2237 has gone way down since 2011. Their living quarters are very far down in the ground, with pressure endurers to keep the pressure normal and livable for humans. Some people are calling the human race worms, because our life is now so similar to theirs. Most of the race of humans live in fear, but a few have hope. Scientists are working on a "cure" to help the ozone layer to restor. It is restoring itself, but all the work underground trying the preserve the world is destroying it faster than we can restore it. How is the world ever going to survive?
