I admire the simplicity of Thomas Paul and Alice Mary, and while I find Rosie Harriet utterly adorable, I prefer Rosie as a nickname.

This infatuation with giving nicknames as full names is a bit ridiculous, as some of these announcements evince. Archie Ben? Evie Debbie?
