Of the Royal House of Hamriil, of the kingdom of Archenwither.
When King James and Queen Alda decided to have another child, the baby was miscarried. Alda was devestated, despite a lot of comfort and support from her husband. She decided to wait until she was better before she had more. James immediately agreed (he lets her handle that stuff... and a lot of other stuff. She pretty much rules the country, which is good because he's not good at politics). Two and a half years later, Queen Alda was pregnant again. Many people were very worried. However, everything went perfectly, and the kingdom (especially her parents and siblings) rejoiced at the birth of Princess Rosalin (pronounced Rosa-lyn, not Rozlin or anything. Wanted to be clear on that).
However, something has come up. The Royal Advisors have finally begun looking through some of King John's old paper work (why it took them nine years, no one knows) and have found a paper from right before he got sick saying he was redirecting the thrown to Prince Tristan. It was written before he got sick, and two monthes before he died.
In Archenwither, you can only redirect the throne after ruling for five years, you must be healthy, and it can't be in the last month of your life (so there's no deathbed changes).
However, it was never passed. James figured Tristan would not mind, but he is fighting for it, and some of his subjects have turned against him. Turns out Tristan wasn't very nice. Gautier, now King of Trizolia, has chosen to remain neutral. The family is very worried there will be a civil war, and hope the conflict can be settled.
