[Opinions] Quentin / Quinten / Quintin
What do you think of the names Quentin, Quinten, and Quintin? I would like to use the nickname Quinn, but I've really been liking the longer names lately. What would you pair them with?

Quinton / Quentin is one of my FAVORITE boys names! I love NN Quin (which is why I've been leaning more toward Quinton lately, where I formally preferred Quentin). I've actually had a really hard time finding the right MN to go with it though. My current fall-backs are Quinton Sandulf and Quinton John Julius. I also liked Quentin Eisley ("EYEZ-lee") for a time too and still do.

I love Quentin! It's solidly in my Top 10, and most days it makes it into my Top 5. Quentin Darius is my stock Quentin combo, but I'll throw some more together. Quentin Patrick
Quentin Gregory
Quentin Eli
Quentin Ross
Quentin ThaddeusI'm particular about the Quentin spelling. Quinton, Quintin, Quinten and all the others look so wrong to me.

I love the name Quentin. :) My neighbour down the street recently had twins named Quentin and Jane. I've always thought that the combo Quentin Samuel was particularly handsome. Other options...Quentin Charles
Quentin Elliott
Quentin Frederic
Quentin Leander
Quentin Leopold
Quentin Miles
Quentin Matthias
Quentin Theodore
Quentin Tobias

Oh my gosh, Quentin Samuel is AWESOME. I'm in love. :O That is handsome, unique, masculine, awesome in all ways. I love it. And it goes fabulously with Jane, you're right. Oh, wow. That made my day in terms of names. :D

To me, Quinton and Quentin seem real and fine. I think Quintin seems rhymey/singsong, and Quinten looks feminized to me.I like Quentin the best. I think you could definitely still call him Quin (but I think it'd be a little weird to spell it with 2 n's, since Quinn is a different name).Quentin Dominic, Quentin Marius, Quentin Albert, Quentin David

Quentin, Quinten and Quinton I kinda prefer to Quintin (something about the 2 Is doesn't do it for me), but I generally like it.I personally would pair it w/ Jpns. names, but it's too late at night to think about pairs right now, so if you want Jpns. names to pair it w/ let me know and I can maybe do some of that tomorrow... Could maybe try some western ones too... Matthew or Mateo may be some to start with.

Quentin is okay, and so it Quinten. Quintin is meh. I know a Quinton, which I don't particularly like. I wouldn't use any of these names because they're pretty common and popular, but I kind of like them (mostly Quentin but Quinten if you want "Quinn"/"Quin"). Another Quin name is Quintus. They seem to go well with fairly average sort of names...Quinten Maxwell
Quinten Peter
Quinten Elliott
Quentin Matthew
Quentin William
Quentin Oliver
Quentin Everett
Quentin Simon

Where do you live that these are common?! I have never in my life met anyone whose name started with a Q. I very much like Quentin Matthew, Quentin William, and Quentin Oliver.

I'm from Wyoming :) I know two Quentins and one Quinton. I they're all teenagers. I guess they're not *terribly* common... but not unusual.

So weird! I live in Montana and have never met one. :P My friend from Alabama says he knows two, one Quintin and one Quentin. So funny.
